Astana: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, visited the Expo area in the capital, Astana, as part of his official visit to Kazakhstan. During the visit, HH Sayyid Theyazin was briefed on the most prominent economic and technological projects in the area, most notably the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and the International Centre for Artificial Intelligence. He received a detailed explanation of the Astana International Financial Centre's role in enhancing the investment environment and attracting capital, as well as its contribution to the development of the financial services sector in the region.
HH Sayyid Theyazin also took note of the programmes and initiatives of the International Centre for Artificial Intelligence in supporting start-ups and enabling AI technologies and digital innovation. This visit reflects the Sultanate of Oman's commitment to strengthening its international presence, consolidating partnerships with various nations and benefitting from global expertise in the field of international exhibitions, thereby supporting the exchange of knowledge and opening broader horizons for joint cooperation across various sectors.
HH Sayyid Theyazin, accompanied by his delegation, visited Astana Grand Mosque in the capital, Astana, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the visit, His Highness toured the mosque's main facilities and listened to an explanation of its architectural design, which is inspired by traditional Islamic style, as well as its role in promoting religious and cultural values as one of the largest religious and educational centres in Central Asia. His Highness expressed his thanks and appreciation to those responsible for the mosque for their efforts in maintaining this religious and civilisational landmark, praising the values of tolerance and coexistence that it embodies, as well as its role in highlighting the cultural and civilisational depth of Kazakhstan.
HH Sayyid Theyazin concluded his two-day visit to Kazakhstan. Olzhas Bektenov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, led the farewell party for HH Sayyid Theyazin and his accompanying delegation at Astana International Airport. They were also seen off by Jaslan Madiyev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development; Zhenis Kassymbek, Governor of Astana; Mohammed bin Abdullah al Bahrani, Ambassador of Oman to Kazakhstan and a number of Kazakh officials. — ONA
